At Kohnle, sustainability isn't a new chapter we're opening - it's an attitude that's part of our craft, just like precision itself.

When you build tools meant to last for decades, you naturally start thinking in terms of resources: the materials we work with, and the energy it takes to shape them. 

That's why we keep developing our tools further, working on new solutions that get more tool life out of less raw material.

For the same reason, we're continually renewing and expanding our production and processes to save energy and further optimize consumption. 

We've also been mindful about how we package our saw blades from the very beginning — originally in wood, today in sturdy cardboard.
Since 2023, that cardboard has been made from 100% recycled material, and so have the tape and strapping we use.

What's waste to others becomes something new at Kohnle: worn-out saw blades are given a second life as our Kohnle Hawk and our Kohnle Keytools.

And since 2023, the power generated by our own rooftop solar array has been running not just our production, but the EV charging stations on our grounds as well.

Small steps, taken consistently — that's our understanding of responsibility.
